For a little over 1.5 years, I worked in two positions with Michael Johnson Performance (“MJP”). First, I held the position of “NFL Pre-Draft and Combine Intern: PR and Comms.” Then I transitioned into a more senior-intern role as “Senior NFL Pre-Draft and Combine Operations Intern/Assistant.”

NFL Pre-Draft & Combine Intern (PR + Comms)

  • Led creative direction and production for a multi-part IGTV series, delivering behind-the-scenes content in a docu-style format

  • Managed MJP’s social channels with real-time long- and short-form content, increasing engagement and followers by 10% in one draft cycle

  • Served as liaison for media and production crews, drafting press kits, coordinating coverage, and ensuring consistent messaging

Senior NFL Pre-Draft Operations Assistant

  • Collaborated with videographers and photographers to produce branded content packages for global partners and athlete campaigns

  • Produced and scheduled weekly media kits (stills, short-form video, and stories) across multiple accounts in sync with brand voice and timing

  • Acted as primary contact for media crews and sponsors, creating press materials and aligning messaging across stakeholders.

  • Coordinated athlete-facing events for a major financial brand, managing venue setup, AV needs, and guest flow

  • Oversaw logistics and operations for athlete prep, including freight, travel, and scheduling
