For two years, I worked closely with the Alabama football, soccer, men’s basketball, and women’s basketball teams, serving as either a primary or secondary student contact and acting as a student assistant to the Sports Information Directors (SIDs).

I wrote or edited at least three press releases per week and moderated at least three to four press conferences per week across various teams.
Assisted in moderating Coach Saban’s press conferences throughout the week and at games, basketball and soccer press conferences at games alongside the SIDs
Edited and prepared media guides for seasonal distribution across football, basketball, soccer, and gymnastics.
Oversaw media credential allotment and pick up, building relationships with local and national media
Liaison with media members, providing updated box scores, notes, and player information for post-game interviews
Liaison for visiting team coaches and athletes, provided box scores for staff, and aided in media management post-game
Ensured athletes were prepared to speak with media members, ensured they were on time, and provided them with talking points as needed
Worked as the primary contact after the SID during Alabama Soccer’s historic 2022 run, where the team broke seven program records
Oversaw daily communications and press activities, social media (2+ million followers), along with PR needs, primarily for Alabama Football
Used Adobe Cloud and Microsoft Office to distribute communications materials, create social media posts, and edit media guides
