“Event Marketing and Promotions Intern”
During my first year at Alabama, I interned with the UA Athletics’ marketing department on the rollout of the student loyalty program, "Tide Loyalty Points,” and various UA sporting events.
Worked home football games during the 2019-2020 season to help with the rollout of “Tide Loyalty Points,” the new ticketing system for UA students
Worked gymnastics meets primarily with entertainment. I coordinated with the national anthem singer, using our to-the-minute schedule to ensure everything happened on time, and with the DJ at the events
Worked basketball games on in-game promotions with local restaurant and store partners, as well as selecting students for promotions such as half-court shots for tuition, guessing games, and other promos
Worked on tennis matches with the broader marketing team
Distributed marketing materials to local Tuscaloosa businesses
This was my first real internship in sports, starting in August of 2019
