“Event Marketing and Promotions Intern”

During my first year at Alabama, I interned with the UA Athletics’ marketing department on the rollout of the student loyalty program, "Tide Loyalty Points,” and various UA sporting events.

  • Worked home football games during the 2019-2020 season to help with the rollout of “Tide Loyalty Points,” the new ticketing system for UA students

  • Worked gymnastics meets primarily with entertainment. I coordinated with the national anthem singer, using our to-the-minute schedule to ensure everything happened on time, and with the DJ at the events

  • Worked basketball games on in-game promotions with local restaurant and store partners, as well as selecting students for promotions such as half-court shots for tuition, guessing games, and other promos

  • Worked on tennis matches with the broader marketing team

  • Distributed marketing materials to local Tuscaloosa businesses

  • This was my first real internship in sports, starting in August of 2019
